The substance of God
There are various principles related to spiritual life help, and a particularly important one is this: there’s only one presence in existence — God. This is a difficult concept to grasp, in part because it contradicts a core belief most everyone has: multiplicity or variety. In other words, there are a variety of forms to be found within existence and each of these forms has its own unique identity and so is separate from other forms. A person reading this posting is a separate entity from another person reading this posting. This multiplicity perspective seems quite obvious and is supported by the physical senses: we see unique forms, we hear unique forms, etc. How then can God be the only presence that there is?
